Pau Gasol who missed the last two games with a concussion will be re-examined by Dr. Vern Williams today to determine whether or not he will be available for Friday night's game against Oklahoma City. Gasol initially suffered the concussion in the fourth quarter of Sunday night's loss to the Denver Nuggets when he was inadvertently hit with an elbow from Javale McGee. Gasol was examined by Dr. Williams on Tuesday morning but it was determined he was not cleared for contact.
Jordan Hill was examined yesterday by Dr. Stephen J. Lombardo, Lakers team physician, and discovered a small tear of the labrum in his left hip. Hill is out indefinitely and will be re-evaluated next Wednesday.
Dwight Howard will miss tomorrow night's game (torn labrum) against the Thunder and Sunday night's game against Cleveland. Howard will be examined next week.
