Lakers News: Lonzo Ball says the Lakers’ goal is making the playoffs

The Los Angeles Lakers are in the midst of their longest playoff drought in franchise history, missing the postseason in each of the last four seasons. Considering you have to go back to the mid-70′s to find a stretch where they missed the playoffs in back-to-back years, that’s a pretty insane fact.

The Lakers are hoping the direction president of basketball operations Magic Johnson and general manager Rob Pelinka are taking them in rights the ship, and much of that hope now rides on the shoulders of No. 2 pick Lonzo Ball.
